How is this different from other Catan board generators?

Other generators balance the board. Harbormaster also deals each player two starting settlements, two roads, and a turn order, matched so the start-value gap between the best and worst player is at most 1-2 pips. Prefer drafting yourself? Board-only mode keeps the balanced board and leaves placement to the table.

Does it support Catan Seafarers?

Yes. The Seafarers map generates the official Heading for New Shores scenario for 3-6 players: main island, small islands with gold fields, their two separate number-token sets, and harbors on the official scenario edges, all balanced the same way as the base game.

Can I share a generated board with my group?

Every board has a seed in the URL. Copy the link and everyone who opens it sees the identical setup, including the starting settlements.

⌂ row = one settlement. Chips = the hexes it collects from (colour = resource, number = dice roll).
Pips = the dots under a number = how often it rolls. More pips = more cards. That's your whole score.
road → = point that settlement's free road here.
⚓ = you start on a port. Counts toward your total, so port players get slightly fewer pips. Still even.
±N at the top = best player minus worst player. 0 or 1 = even game. Above 2 → hit Re-draw.
Weakest start plays first. Order is on each card.

Seafarers · Heading for New Shores

Starting settlements go on the main island only — the island race is yours to play. Rules allow a ship instead of a starting road; the drawn road just shows which coast the plan valued.
Small islands use their own tile + number sets, including gold fields (gold = collect any resource).
First settlement on each small island = 2 bonus VP · play to 14 VP.
Robber: 4-player starts on the desert; 3-player has no desert — rulebook parks it on an island hills hex. Pirate starts on the marked sea hex.
